Elevator Maintenance Manual: An in-depth guide, designed for the service technician, covering elevator maintenance programs and practices as related to electric and hydraulic elevators. Also covers, escalators and moving walks. This publication is a comprehensive "how-to" guide that can be used for training classes or home study. In addition to technical material, the manual presents topics such as: Public Relations, Maintenance Safety, Maintenance Control and Trouble Shooting.

The Maintenance Field Handbook: A pocket-sized companion to the Maintenance Manual designed for the service mechanic to take into the field. It contains over 75 charts and guides to be used by the mechanic on a service route.

Maintenance on New Equipment Designs, 2nd Edition: Since 2010, many changes to the ASME A17.1/CSA B44 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators have happened. With the expiration of several patents for MRL designs with their unique components and driving machine locations, many more companies are now designing and installing similar systems. Due to the the advent of these new technologies, ASME A17.6/CSA B44-6 includes these additions for guidance on their manufacture and application. Many changes were made to ASME A17.1/CSA B44 section 8.6 since the 2008 edition, and the latest Code is the 2022 edition. This new edition of Maintenance On New Equipment Designs covers these changes.

Maintenance Control Program and MRL Elevator Inspections: This presentation by John Koshak, gives the viewer an in-depth look at the Maintenance Control Program with detailed explanation of code requirements. The presentation will focus on:

  • The differences involved in working safely on legacy equipment vs. MRLs
  • Elevator equipment code compliance
  • Maintenance of elevator components
  • Development and maintenance of current Maintenance Records
  • Providing wiring diagrams
  • Implementation of monthly Fire Service Tests
