This test is based on the article, Inspection of Elevator Ropes, Part One, published in the December 2020 issue and counts as one contact hour (0.1 CEU) of elevator industry continuing education credit. After reading this article, you should have learned about:

- What rouge is and what it is not
- When a rope should be replaced
- The process of rope replacement
