This test is based on Chapter 2 of the Educational Focus book and counts as two contact hours (0.2 CEU) towards recertification. The course is a self-study course with a timed online test. Approved by NAEC for CET/CAT Programs, QEI Services and NAESAI for QEI (A maximum of 0.2 CEU for online courses per annual renewal period can be applied towards maintenance of qualifications for certified inspectors.) and the states of Florida, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia.

Learning Objectives - After reading Chapter 2 (pg 19-30) you should have learned about:
- The operation of several different door operators
- How to keep a door operator package working properly
- What the main difference is in elevator controllers
- The kinds of door controllers used for glass doors or doors on unusual size
- The electrical-safety issues involved in installing door operators

- Use the provided online link, ID, and Password to login to the Online Testing Center.
- If you scored 80% or above you can immediately print your certificate of completion. If you score below 80% you will have up to two free retakes.
