This test is based on Chapter 1 of the Educational Focus book and counts as two contact hours (0.2 CEU) towards recertification. The course is a self-study course with a timed online test. Approved by NAEC for CET/CAT Programs, QEI Services and NAESAI for QEI, (A maximum of 0.2 CEU for online courses per annual renewal period can be applied towards maintenance of qualifications for certified inspectors.) and the states of Florida, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia.

Learning Objectives - After reading chapter 1 (pg 1-18) you should have learned about:
- Four different types of controller systems and their applications
- Diagnosing problems with controller systems
- Installation peculiarities of the different controller systems
- Testing controller systems prior to turnover
- Maintenance issues involving the controllers in these articles

- If you scored 80% or above you can immediately print your certificate of completion. If you score below 80% you will have up to two free retakes.
