This is a self-study course with a timed online test. The book is not included and should be purchased separately.
This course is based on Chapter 5, "Escalator Maintenance", of the Elevator Maintenance Manual, 2nd Edition by Zack McCain (not included). The Escalator Maintenance Course counts as one and 1.5 contact hours (0.15 CEU) towards recertification.
Approved by NAEC for CET, QEI Services for QEI and by the states of Florida, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia.
Learning Objectives - By studying the required materials to take the exam the reader will have had the opportunity to learn the safe and proper methods for performing service, cleaning and light repair on escalators and moving walkways.

Testing Procedures:The exam databank consists of 29 questions which are all multiple choice. 25 questions will be chosen at random and the candidate will be allowed 35 minutes to take the test.

- Include your full name when purchasing the online course.
- Within 2 to 3 business days you will receive an email with study questions and instructions for the exam.
- Use the provided online link, ID, and Password to login to the Online Testing Center.
- If you scored 80% or above you can immediately print your certificate of completion. If you score below 80% you will have up to two free retakes.
